“Introducing BHAKTA 2005 Bourbon a single cask release at 19 year, 3-months old. Yes, a near 20-year-old Bourbon Whiskey.

This spirit started its journey in Tennessee where it was first distilled. The unique single barrel then traveled to Scotland, where it continued to mature in seasoned oak barrels at the revitalized Merlin plant in East Kilbride.

After years abroad, it again crossed the Atlantic to our library at the BHAKTA Griswold campus in Vermont, where Raj completed its aging cycle for another two years in a 1975 Armagnac barrel.

Most of its lifetime maturing in cold climate, this bourbon is unlike any in its age class, aged to perfection.

Then, on the 5th day, of the 5th month when his 5th child Elijah was born, Raj tasted this 2005 Bourbon and decided it was ready to be shared with only those who truly appreciate.

Miraculously this singular barrel yielded 555 bottles of this one of its kind, ultra-aged Bourbon.

At 107.4 proof, our 2005 Bourbon is encased in a hand-crafted Black Walnut box that has been meticulously crafted by monks.“
