Cointreau is a type of triple sec (an orange-flavoured liqueur) produced in Saint-Barthlemy-d’Anjou, France. It is drunk as an apritif and digestif, and is a component of several well-known cocktails.

One of the world’s favourite and most enduring cocktails, synonymous with Mexico and its stunning coastline. Part of its popularity is based on its simplicity, employing just tequila, Cointreau/triple sec, lime juice, and salt and lime zest for the garnish.
