Produced by The Beverly Spirits in collaboration with Cedar Ridge Distillery (Swisher, Iowa). They use straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys sourced from Iowa and Indiana.
Bottled at 48% ABV / 96 proof.
Majority-rye grain bill (i.e. high rye) in the blend. The blending is done to bring out the bright baking spices rye is known for, while letting bourbons sweetness (corn, vanilla, etc.) help smooth the edges.
Cocktails / Serving Styles:
Neat or with a large ice cube to let the wood and spice open up.
In classic whiskey cocktails (Old Fashioned, Manhattan variants), use as the base whiskey to bring spice + sweetness.
