The 2021 Pinot Noir Terra de Promissio Vineyard comes from vines planted in 2002 and was matured for 15 months in 63% new oak. It’s expressive and complex this vintage, offering layers of fruit, spice and earth. Pale ruby in the glass, the nose is bursting with scents of pomegranate, rhubarb and cranberry and wafts of rooibos tea leaves, licorice, tobacco and underbrush. Medium-bodied and harmoniously structured, the palate features concentrated, nuanced fruit and a very long finish with alluring streaks of spice.
