From a tiny, southfacing 0.25ha parcel planted in 1928 on thin limestoneclay soils within GriotteChambertin, this is one of Fourriers two domainebottled Grand Crus. The vines are trained in Guyot and farmed organically. The grapes are handharvested, 100% destemmed, and undergo indigenousyeast fermentation in open-top vats with gentle extraction. Aged 16 months in French oak (25% new), bottled unfined and unfiltered.
