Now fully into its drinking window, the 2012 displays lifted aromatics of pressed rose, red cherry, and savory herb, framed by tight acidity and refined, energetic tannins. It balances intensity and gracemore floral and approachable than Brunate, with clear structure and ageworthiness built in.
Produced in very limited quantity by a producer who avoids modern intervention, this is pure, traditional Nebbiolo from one of Barolos most enduring estates.
