Sesti’s Monteleccio is an incredible value in Tuscan wine. It is their first bottling each vintage while they wait for their Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino to age, but what this means is that it is always more approachable and enjoyable out of the gate. As with all Sesti wines, it comes from biodynamic vineyards. The Sesti property was begun in 1975 byGiuseppe Maria Giugi Sesti and today the wines are being made by his incredible daughter Elisa. This is the perfectpizza wine, but is also delicious with a fresh tomato salad or grilled meat.
