From a parcel of Pinot Noir planted in 1978 on a gently sloped, south-facing plateau of Portlandian limestone in St. Bris-le-Vineux. The whole clusters were fermented spontaneously in barrique with a 22-day maceration, with no sulfur and with two punchdowns. The wine aged for 11 months in barrique without racking and bottled unfiltered with a tiny dose of sulfur. 1 bottle maxim per customer.
