Produced by Giffard & Cie, a family-owned French liqueur house founded in 1885 in the Loire Valley.
The liqueur is made by steam distilling fresh pink grapefruit peels, extracting the essential oils and aromatic compounds, then blending them into a sweetened fortified base.
Because the essential oils are volatile, this method helps retain the vivid grapefruit aromatics and minimizes harsh bitterness.
Alcohol content is 16% ABV (32 proof).
