92 Points Whiskey Advocate– A crack of black pepper, a little cassis, lemon-poppyseed muffin, vanilla pudding, Frosted Flakes, and a dollop of honey point the nose in an endlessly appealing direction. On the palate, sugar and spice and everything nicecinnamon powder and black peppercorn are accompanied by sweeter notes of crme brle and French toast topped with powdered sugar. It finishes with just-charred pie crust, gingersnaps, and a lick of orange peel.
